Support Incubation and Acceleration318
The UNDP Accelerator Labs are a new service offering that works with people, governments, and the private sector to reimagine development for the 21st century. The Accelerator Lab aims to surface and reinforce locally sourced solutions at scale while mobilizing a wide and dynamic partnership of actors contributing knowledge, resources and experience.
The Palestinian Accelerator Lab is part of a Global Network made up of 60 teams in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean. The Labs will work on development challenges in parallel.
> The Accelerator Lab provides the necessary technical support, visibility, and partnership grants to facilitate the testing and implementation of ideas and scale-up the most effective solutions. The solutions must fall within the scope of the identified sustainable development goals we wish to tackle.
> Solve It is an initiative by UNDP/PAPP focusing on social entrepreneurship and social innovation. Solve It is linked to UNDP’s emerging Accelerator Lab, where winners of the challenge award will have access to seed funding to test their solutions, mentoring and guidance to further develop and incubate their ideas. Solve It is one of the innovative platforms to crowdsource ideas under the newly-launched Accelerator Lab in Palestine. The Accelerator Lab will support solutions mapping, experimentation and exploration in country. The Solve It initiative will benefit from the knowledge and partners developed through the network.
